Avalanche Awareness Evening

Saturday, Feb 15 2014 VARDA along with the Best Western Valemount will be hosting an Avalanche Awareness Evening beginning at 7pm in the Eagles View room.
The evening will consist of general avalanche education discussions, a showing of some of the chapters from Throttle Decisions (a snowmobile avalanche education film), live auctions with great items, 50/50 draw and raffle prizes.
Appetizers will be provided, Three Ranges Brew will be on tap and a cash bar will be open.
All proceeds collected from the event will be donated to the Canadian Avalanche Centre to further snowmobiler avalanche education efforts.
So come on out for an evening of education, socializing and fund raising!
